Church of the Malevolent Lord is an antagonistic force in Ludie's route.
Overview[]
They're a group of people that worshipping some kind of evil lord. The Church's worshippers already had their eyes on the Hanamura Family from the start. Since Kousuke, a member of the Hanamura Family came to Ludie's aid, There is a high chance that he have been marked as a quarry warranting elimination.[1]
If things played out like they do in the game, then followers of the Church would eventually target Ludie. It serves as an opportunity for the protagonist and Ludie to quickly grow closer with each other.
Ludie was definitely going to be targeted. In the game, a bunch of small scale events happen, and as they begin resolving them all, angered Church fanatics start taking increasingly drastic measures.
In the beginning, they take hostages to try and threaten Ludie. Then they use perilous, forbidden summoning magic and then a dungeon just pops up in the middle of the town.[1]
