Kousuke Takioto (瀧音幸助 Takioto Kōsuke?) is the main protagonist of the Magical★Explorer series. Originally a passionate fan of the erotic game "Magical★Explorer", but one day was reborn as Kousuke Takioto, a side-character from the game.
In the original work, Kousuke was positioned as a mid-game party member who acted as a friend of the protagonist Iori, providing him with information on conquering the heroines, and often causing scorn from the heroines by doing silly things. However, upon the protagonist being reincarnated as him, Kousuke's hidden backstory was revealed: Kousuke's parents were actually murdered by demons, leaving him in a state where he couldn't even answer the phone due to that trauma. Furthermore, his only remaining family member, his grandmother, was hospitalized with dementia. Additionally, among other undisclosed backstories in the original game, it is also revealed that he is a member of the Hanamura clan, a powerful family in the game world.

Kousuke is determined to be the strongest, he is a very hardworking person and always doing more efforts than anyone else to get the best results. It was also shown that he's helpful when he saved Ludie and Claris whose in trouble despite ruining the game scenario. He is quite perverted and sometimes thinking some indecent things although he's not thinking it out loud.
After reincarnation, Kosuke, being a huge fan of the original, wants to befriend all the heroines and aims to become the strongest using his knowledge from the original. Kosuke has an enormous amount of magical power, surpassing the double score of important heroines, but his magical consumption is unusually severe, and he can hardly use offensive magic. Instead, he utilizes reinforcement magic and manipulation of scarves to engage in combat. After reincarnation, his magical power increases several times more than in the original, almost reaching the world's highest level. Kosuke uses his increased magical power not only for combat but also to train himself in swordsmanship to the level of an experienced practitioner or to transfer his magical power to other heroines in a peculiar way. Furthermore, he strives to give happy endings to all heroines by utilizing the vast knowledge of games he possessed from his previous life.
Moreover, the experiences from his previous life strangely help him in his current life. Although his previous life is not detailed, it is hinted that he was a salaryman who had some experience in social life, which allows him to proficiently manage tasks such as debt repayment and property management for some sub-heroines. He also displays unexpectedly mature traits compared to other students, earning the favor of the heroines.

Kousuke Takioto has faced an excruciatingly difficult life, burdened by both tragic past events and current struggles. His parents tragically passed away last year, and his paternal grandfather had long departed before that. Estranged from his relatives on his mother’s side, his only remaining blood relative is his paternal grandmother, who is presently sick in the hospital. Her illness has worsened her dementia, rendering her unable to care for him.[2] Eventually, Marino, his mother's cousin, adopted him. Initially, his custody was under consideration with his maternal grandfather, but a will left by his mother dictated that Marino would become his guardian instead. Despite Kousuke's troubled past, his mother's family, the Hanamura family, holds significant influence and high social status.
Original Game Story: Eroge[]
The main character's friend, Kousuke Takioto, is what you'd call a comic relief character—tearfully biting down on his handkerchief as he jealously side-eyes the protagonist flirting with all the different love interests. A foil through and through.
While he has lines like "That girl is super cute, right? Well, Actually..." and "She's supposed to be the prettiest girl in the academy," the main character inevitably snatches away anyone he's interested in. It goes without saying, but none of them are reserved for Kousuke Takioto.
Far from it, since all the girls in the game hate his guts. He's pretty good looking but between his poorly-timed dirty comments and downright boneheaded behavior, it's clear why he's so reviled. A few of the heroines don't outright hate him but these exceptions compromise a small portion of the overall cast.
Thus, whe we view the romantic elements from Kousuke Takioto's perspective, we find he is a supremely unfortunate individual.
His misfortune extends to the game's combat as well. All male eroge characters are prone to having unremarkable combat abilities in the first place. It makes sense. The ladies and gentlemen playing eroge are after the beautiful young heroines they wish to make their own.
When sought-after heroines are powerful, their popularity increases. The higher their popularity, the higher the merch sales. Above all, however, the developers love their female creations and want to make them strong as possible so it's natural they'd be so effective in combat.
Despite all those caveats, Kousuke Takioto's combat ability isn't terrible. Nevertheless, the fact that he's geared toward experienced players, the fact that he doesn't have his own unique weapon and more than anything, the fact that heroines get such preferential treatment makes him seem underappreciated in comparison. Most people remove him from their main party by the end of the game.[1]

According to game setting, Kousuke has limitless stamina. If it's for three miles, he wouldn't be fatigued at all, which he assumed was an effect of the enhance magic. At this rate, he could run ten times that distance without issue.
Magical Power[]
According to the game setting, Kousuke has greatest amount of mana of all characters. With his vast reserve of mana, it would be easy to assume Kousuke Takioto can wantonly fire off magic nonstop from a distance. His mana pool is vital to his success in combat. The game handicaps him by tying any of the actions he can take to burning mana. He consumes mana even when he isn’t using magic to attack. In this way, his design is unique because he has more mana than anyone else yet still finds that amount insufficient.

- Donation Magic - This spell allowed him to give his mana to someone else[3]and since Kousuke has the largest amount of mana he wants to share some of his mana to his companions once theirs is drained.

Kousuke has a sole defensive and offensive weapon which can deals high damage.
- Scarf - His scarf is enchanted with mana, hardened like a sheet of iron. Through furnishing his scarf with a colossal amount of mana, he is able to move it at will, as if it is a part of his own body. In the game, these skills are called Third Hand and Fourth Hand. Not only is his scarf highly versatile, he can even alter its fundamental properties with mana. He can make it as hard as iron and use it as a shield, or if he enchants it with water, it can become a small, fire-repelling wall. Additionally, since he moves it just as easily as his arms and legs, he can hold a sword in each of its ends on top of both of his hands, allowing him to use a four-blade style of combat. Plus, by enchanting it with ice, he can get through the summer months without needing any air conditioning.
The game version of Kousuke Takioto is able to move this scarf at will, using it to block or parry his opponents’ strikes.
