Magical★Explorer (マジカル★エクスプ Magikaru Ekusupurōrā?) is a Japanese anime series based on the light novel series by Iris. The series was announced on September 24, 2023 during the Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary livestream.[1]
Light novel illustrator Noboru Kannatsuki and manga illustrator Yukari Higa each revealed new illustrations to celebrate the announcement of the anime.[2][3]

- The author Iris is heavily involved with the anime via participation in script meetings and overall supervision of the production.[4]
- Additionally, he's personally written in an original dungeon that will be explored exclusively in the anime adaptation.
